Agency owner wins award

Jennifer Myers Ward

Jennifer Myers Ward, chief executive officer of the online ad agency, ebove & beyond, recently was named the 11th annual winner of the Affiliate Summit Pinnacle Award for Outsourced Program Manager/Agency of the year.

The Satellite Beach-based ebove & beyond, helps online retailers in more than a dozen industries with their affiliate and email marketing programs. Ward’s company has worked with Things Remembered, Fab.com and Hammacher Schlemmer, as well as other strong brand names such as Dylan's Candy Bar, Steiner Sports Memorabilia, Lax World, Limoges Jewelry, HorseLoverZ and The Sox Box.

The Pinnacle Awards ceremony was held at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas.

Ward started ebove & beyond 14 years ago. The company now has a staff of five who work remotely. She relocated the headquarters to Brevard County, from North Carolina, about 10 years ago.

Craig honored by business organization

Carol Craig, Craig Technologies

Carol Craig, president and CEO of Craig Technologies, Cape Canaveral, is the recipient of our 2017 “Making a Difference” award by the The American Business Women’s Association Oceanside Charter Chapter.

Goodyear named PIO

Tod Goodyear, Brevard County Sheriff's Department

The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office recently announced that Tod Goodyear is the agency’s Public Information Officer. Goodyear had retired in 2016, after serving the agency for 30 years.

Goodyear spent most of his career with the sheriff’s department in investigations, the last 15 years as a supervisor in Criminal Investigative Services. When Goodyear retired in 2016 he was commander.

Goodyear will coordinate agency communications with the media regarding operations, programs and events. He will be responsible for distributing information about the Sheriff’s office to the public, media, and organizations.

Goodyear will also act as liaison between the media and the Sheriff’s office, fielding all requests for information and interviews.
