Be Wise Marketing

Describe Your Business: We are a marketing and training business that educates business owners about their digital assets to increase their online presence. We offer solutions for lead generation. Many businesses have website but nine out of 10 have no call to action to capture leads. We have the solution that will increase the leads the business owners are getting from their website.

Any business owner would be delighted to get an email that states a potential client has just left their contact information. Business owners are paying PPC with Google, TV advertising, fliers, newspaper advertising directing consumers to their website but none of them are enticing the computer to take action while on the site. We have software that any webmaster can install on their businesses website to capture leads. Also, for lead generation we create unique and creative videos, that can be used on website, Facebook and etc.

Training and coaching businesses on different digital avenues that is available to their business. Gives the business owner a perspective where they should be investing their money on their marketing budget.

What’s your professional background? I began my technology career at IBM as a Computer Programmer. I am Certified Internet Webmaster, Certified Computer Instructor and have computer certifications in A+ and Network+. I have worked as a tech support and computer trainer at various companies. I have been training the public on computers for over 20 years.

I am an Army veteran and lived five years in Germany where I taught the local nationals computers classes. I knew a little German; they knew a little English, which made it a fun class.

Because of the rapid changing in the computer and technology world, I recognized that business owners needed support in technology. Therefore, I decided in 2015 to start my own marketing company, Be Wise Marketing LLC.

What makes my company and me different that I have combined experience in Training, Marketing and Web Development. So when I speak with my potential clients and clients who have told me the advice I give is out of the box thinking and nothing they heard from anyone else.

Have trained business owners at Eastern Florida State Florida, NAACP, Duval County School Board, business owners, etc., I am passionate and have a genuine concern for small business owners. I enjoy speaking with them on how to decrease their marketing budget while attracting new clients.

Your business philosophy: “Increasing your online presence one step at a time to reach new customers”.

Biggest challenge: My biggest challenge is educating small business owners the importance of a digital asset, the importance of taking a part of their marketing budget and investing it in the online market. Many businesses tell me that they have a website and I explain to them, a website is step one to increasing their online presence, let Be Wise Marketing take you to the next steps.

Another challenge is business owners state they do not understand the computer, I explain to them you may not understand the computer but many of their customers are computer savvy and they will use the internet to locate information about a business. 89 percent of consumers will look online and visit your website before they even call or visit your business.

Proudest moment as a businessperson: My proudest moment as a businessperson is watching a client come to almost tears after seeing a revamp of her website and seeing her business on the 1st page of Google for the first time. After being in business for three years people can now search on her keyword and she is found on Google. Increasing her online presence one step at a time is benefiting her business each day.

Business advice: My advice to all small business owners is that if you want different results you need to consider changing your marketing strategy or increasing your marketing strategy to increase your online presence. We are in the last half of 2016 there is still time to change your marketing strategy.

Every business should have a website that is mobile friendly and have a call to action on their website. Everything that a business does for driving traffic, whether it is Facebook, TV Ads, PPC ads, Yellow Pages, LinkedIn, or business cards the information points back to their website. A call to action will generate a Lead. Every business wants to generate a leads that may turn into a long time customer. Increasing your online presence does not only help a business get new customers but it can also help with retention of current customers.

What’s next? What are your future plans for your business? My goal in the next five months is to be able to speak at different organizations to educate their small business owner members about lead generation that having a call to action on your website is the start to increasing your online presence.

Partner with non-profits to help them raise funds with my training program.

My future plans for my business is to continue grow my training business and to help small businesses increase their ROI for 2016 and beyond. When I look at websites I see more businesses using our call to action software to getting leads.
