Will luck be on your side?

The New Year's Powerball jackpot rolled over again — with no winners from Saturday night, Dec. 30.

Powerball jackpot started at $229 million Saturday.

The jackpot was estimated at $384 million

The winning numbers drawn Saturday night:

28-36-41-51-58 with a Powerball of 24

(and a Powerplay option of 2x).

The next drawing is Wednesday, Jan. 3 with a jackpot of $440 million.

The game is played in 44 states; Washington, D.C.; Puerto Rico; and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The Florida Lottery is celebrating the 25th anniversary of Powerball this year. The $300 million prize does not rank among the top 10 Powerball drawings.

But, wait, there's more

Coincidentally, there are two chances to win at least $300 million, since the Mega Millions jackpot has also rolled over to a $343 million prize.

UPDATE:

The winning numbers drawn Friday night, Dec. 29:

4-10-18-28-62 with a Megaball of 7

(and a Megaplier option at 2x).

No one won the jackpot, meaning Tuesday night's drawing, Jan. 2, is worth an estimated $343 million.

But one lucky Florida player matched the first five numbers and collected $1 million.

Check back for updates on these drawings.
