A Merritt Island man suspected of robbing a convenience store in Cape Canaveral on Tuesday night made it easy for police to find him.

He left his wallet at the scene.

According to an arrest report from the Brevard County Sheriff's Office, 25-year-old Benjamin Alexander Shaw took $40 from a store clerk at the Circle K at 7700 N. Atlantic Ave. Shaw did so by threatening him, stating that if the clerk did not pay the money, Shaw would go home and get a gun and take all the money in the register.
