Watch: 'Science and Tech Education' documentary

FLORIDA TODAY is proud to present the television documentary "Science and Technology Education: Reaching for the Stars."

The half-hour show features three groups of Brevard high school students, all with ties to NASA and other space agencies, as they work to reach critical milestones in their projects:

• Building a robot for the FIRST Robotics competition

• Designing a small satellite and passing a critical design review

• Conducting research with the help of astronauts on the International Space Station.

The show premiers at 6 p.m. Sunday on WEFS-TV, and will be rebroadcast at midnight Tuesday, and at 8:30 p.m. Thursday.
