Real estate sites show the 3,158-square-foot waterfront home sold June 8 for $1,300,000. The house, which was renovated last year, originally listed at $1,530,000 in late April, days after David Rennie of Shelton, Connecticut, took the $1.2 million cash option — rather than the $1.7 million grand prize — in the HGTV sweepstakes.

Rennie was chosen from 127 million entries.
