Document: Grand jury report on corruption in Florida

FLORIDA TODAY

Following a rash of corruption cases in South Florida in 2010, then-Gov. Charlie Crist and Attorney General Bill McCollum empowered the Statewide Grand Jury to investigate its causes and circumstances and recommend changes. Gannett’s model corruption bill is based on the grand jury’s two simplest, highest priority recommendations for changes to criminal statutes.
