A woman driving a U.S. Postal Service mail truck was arrested and charged last month after Titusville police said she hit a parked vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.

Police said Toni Bollinger, 53, was driving a postal service truck on Nov. 24 and collided with a GMC pickup truck parked at a home on Crescent Drive in Titusville. When police arrived at the scene, Bollinger said she was there to deliver a package.

Officers observed that her breath smelled like alcohol, she had bloodshot eyes and her speech was slurred.

Bollinger was unable to complete DUI field checks and breath tests conducted at the scene showed she had a blood alcohol content of .178 and .183.

She was charged with DUI with property damage and DUI (second offense). She has since been released on bond from the Brevard County Jail.

A judge has ordered Bollinger to not consume alcohol.

Debbie Fetterly, a U.S. Postal Service spokesperson, said the incident is still under investigation. She was unable to comment on a matter involving personnel.

In 2013, she was found guilty of driving under the influence and reckless driving, all of which stemmed from a 2012 incident, according to the Brevard County Clerk of Courts.

A docket sounding is scheduled for Feb. 9.
